The County Auditor is an elected official who serves as the county's business manager and accountant.  The Auditor is responsible for commissioners proceedings, agendas and records, accounting records, revenue and expense reports, voter registration and elections.  Businesses may apply for county liquor licenses with the Auditor.  The Auditor also figures real estate and mobile home taxes and handles county bid lettings.  In many cases, the Auditor also manages medical indigent claims.  The Auditor and Treasurer work in conjunction to pay county bills.  The Auditor also serves as the election supervisor and is in charge of all Primary and General county wide elections.
